With the Aquafacial, there is no rough tools or a list of do’s and don’ts. It is a multi-step process that will take approximately one hour from start to finish.

What is an Aquafacial treatment? An Aqua facial is a non-invasive, moisturizing, soothing facial that exfoliates, extracts, hydrates and cleanses the skin. Aquafacials are perfect for those of us who prefer not to inject chemicals in our face but would like things such as fine lines, acne scars, sun spots, wrinkles or hyperpigmentation reduced, this economical routine can make just as much of a difference, without the dangers and harsh side effects. Unlike other cosmetic procedures, Aquafacials works on ANY skin type, even those that suffer from acne and rosacea!

What happens during an Aquafacial? First thing is our free consultation. Each facial is customized to your specific skincare needs.

There are 6 steps in total for this treatment:

Step 1: Cleaning and Exfoliation. Your technician will use a rough sponge like tool on your face to sweep up all of the dead skin cells and dirt on the epidermis, prepping for the Aquafacial.

Step 2: Microdermabrasion. This process is done to smooth out the skin and remove any bumps and imperfections along the surface.

Step 3: Aqua suction. A small-vacuum like object will then be used to get into your pores and pull up any dirt or debris that may be clogging them, while re-inserting water to help rehydrate the skin.

Step 4: Microcurrent & Radio Frequency. A combination of microcurrent and radio frequency is used to tighten and tone the skin, helping reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also helps reduce the appearance of under eye circles.

Step 5: Vitamin C. Vitamin C oil will be smoothed onto your skin to promote elasticity and hydration. This serum is known to lock in the magic and prevent any dirt and oils from entering your pores.

Step 6: Cryotherapy. A Cryotherapy tool is used to seal in the vitamin c and water into your skin.

Bonus: Sunscreen is applied generously and a hand and head massage is used to finish the experience.

Aquafacial Treatment

Your skin did not get those acne scars or fine lines overnight—therefore, an Aquafacial treatment is recommended to help treat the area. It is suggested to go once every two weeks for the first couple of sessions, or until you get the results you are looking to achieve. Once you are happy with your appearance, it will be best to follow up with a monthly treatment.

There are many facial and procedures out there that promise to reduce these issues we may face, but not many can promise to have minimal to almost no downtime or side effects. And not to mention, most of them are not suited for just any skin type. An Aquafacial treatment have no limitations to skin type or color and will have you looking your best as long as you have them done on a monthly scheduled basis.
